I have nearly two decades of at the nexus of high tech, the Internet, and business. I've had the opportunity to:- Grow a small, entrepreneurial endeavor into an industry-leading giant. In doing so, we raised money from private investors and VCs, defined a new market sector, took the company public, and then years later have Adobe acquire it for $1.8 billion.- Pioneer a new way of thinking about software, licensing, and the internet in developing the world's first Enterprise SaaS/On Demand software service-- Omniture's SiteCatalyst. SiteCatalyst (now Adobe Analytics) became and is still recognized today as the leader and standard in website traffic measurement and website optimization.- Scale SiteCatalyst's infrastructure to be one of the world's largest software systems, second only to Akamai. Under my leadership SiteCatalyst served more than 6,000 enterprise-class customers such as Wal-Mart, HP, Apple, GM, Media News Group, etc. Built as a distributed system across multiple data centers and geographies, and consisting of several thousand servers, switches, firewalls, etc. SiteCatalyst would register more than 1.5 trillion transactions per quarter, and make this data available to customers in real time.- Participate in all aspects of merger/acquisition activities of nearly a dozen technologies and companies including: conception, due diligence, transaction completion, and finally integration.- Be recognized in 2013 by the Utah Genius organization as one of the top patent recipients in the state. I've been fortunate to have had a truly amazing career thus far. Of course, I'm a super genius with mad skillz, but I've also been in the right place at the right time. And if I'm truly honest, the majority of my success should be attributed to the incredible people with whom I've worked-- both employees and customers. Nearly all of them have proven to be remarkable, talented people and I deeply thank them for their help and interest.
