Learning & Development professional with close to 20 years' experience. Education is something I have been passionate about since I was a kid, with the initial goal being to teach high school and coach volleyball. While I have gone a very different path in my career, I can't imagine it any other way. What has kept me driven and passionate all this time? Below are some of the reasons:• My family. Love spending time with my husband and 2 kids.• Creating learning experiences. My goal is that all sessions are captivating, connected, and challenging. Helping learners apply their knowledge and feel empowered. • Teammate development. Making the lives of those on my team as easy as I possibly can. This way they can focus on honing their skills and personal development. This includes reducing administrative tasks and streamlining processes.• Authentic connections. I believe that the ability to connect authentically helps to develop better conversations and outcomes. • Thinking outside the box. I like to think creatively and fail fast. I would rather try out an idea early to see if it works and tweak as needed -- versus it staying on the drawing board for a long time. • Strategic partnerships. Working with clients/partners on their strategic goals and initiatives.• Exploring technology. Consistently looking for ways to leverage technology to enhance any process.
