I’ve written analysis for the President of the United States (while @ CIA) and published impactful reports that were front-page headlines (while @ FireEye). I’ve helped build a security automation program (while @ Truist), bringing test-driven-development and DevOps principles to security operations, and I've helped build an engineering team focused on the tools & technologies that support the SOC (while @ Synchrony). I am now leading Synchrony's Infosec Engineering organization. I’ve also supported critical projects & programs in enterprise logging, identity & access management, and application security. I aspire to be an empowering, thoughtful, and forward-looking leader in technology & cybersecurity. I have an innate understanding and appreciation for risk and focus on solving problems based on business needs, not technology prowess. I have built multiple teams, established healthy & collaborative culture, and implemented effective processes that empower people to deliver. I care most about the people themselves and ensuring they establish a healthy balance, find meaning & purpose, and contribute to something bigger in an incredibly demanding & challenging field. I love technology and am driven by curiosity. I excel with problems & big challenges - breaking them down, identifying & removing bottlenecks, building systems, and navigating administrivia to deliver results.
