Principal IT Engineer• Translate business requirements and functional specifications into physical program designs, code modules, stable application systems, and software solutions by partnering with Business Analysts and other team members to understand business needs and functional specifications.• Contribute to and leverage the technical direction for the development of integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions.• Define technical requirements and perform high level design for complex solutions.• Serve as a technical expert for project teams while providing consultation to help ensure new and existing software solutions are developed• Provide architectural and solution design oversight of contact center data integration and data.• Review project plans related to new installations, upgrades, enhancements and decommissions to ensure data dependent processes are uninterrupted.• Use both Waterfall and Agile practices, to design, develop, and deliver resilient, secure, multi-channel, high-volume, high-transaction, on/off-premise and cloud-based solutions• Lead, mentor, and train other technical resources to develop software applications, enhancements, fixes, etc.• Evaluate and document level of effort (LOE) estimates for application enhancements including new data sources, metrics, integrations, dashboards, OLAP cubes, databases, and complex transforms• Partner internally and externally to make effective business decisions, solve complex problems, escalate issues or risks, as appropriate, and monitor progress and results.• Join bridge calls for troubleshooting and solutioning of enterprise incidents.
