Dubai is the headquarters for the ME region with 15 local offices and 3 factories throughout the ME region with a total of 337 employees and a turnover of approx $320M.- P&L responsible for the ME Operations (incl. OEM partners) with head office in Dubai - Part of matrix organisation with direct reporting line into the General Manager of the ME region.- Following departments reported into me : sales, tendering, engineering, project management, Supply chain, assembly operations and Services.- My contribution to Eaton's ME strategy is the set-up of a new factory in the ME supporting the sales growth target. Since 2014 the factory realized a sales growth from $4M to $17M in 2017.- I introduced successfully 2 new global developed Eaton Low and Medium Voltage systems products into the ME region which is a important enabler to support the sales growth target.

- Responsible for 4 operational sites in the EMEA region (Netherlands, Belgium, UK, Romania). 10 direct reports and approx. 1500 employees.- Operational disciplines include safety, Supply chain , Quality and operational excellence, Assembly, manufacturing and casting.- The BU delivered engineered electrical systems solutions as well as mass produced electrical components. - P&L responsible with a sales turnover in 2014 of 195M$ - Important top 5 metrics include safety, on time delivery, Quality, Continuous improvement and Margin. With a strong focus on Standardized work.- The nature of the business requires a strong Continuous improvement and lean focus to realize year over year cost-out targets and improve competetiveness.- Under my responsibility we started successfully 1 new site in Romania to gain better balance between high cost and best cost countries.- New task was to introduce global developed products, us being the lead site to other regions in the world. This required a strong industrialization focus and supplier development.- Executed an additional program of being the integration leader between Eaton and Cooper (worldwide acquisition in 2013). This included a restructuring program in the Netherlands and integration of activities from different sites. Together with work stream leaders I developed the strategy and second part of 2014 I was responsible for the execution of the plans.

- Executed the Merger and Acquisition of Schreder Hazemeyer into Eaton Electric in Brussels.- Was leading the due diligence before acquisition and after acquiring did execute on the acquisition plan within budget and time.- Although the acquisition in $ amount was relatively small this integration project exposed me to all aspects of setting-up a new business, not limited to Health and Safety aspects and all relevant government permits related to achieve a right to Operate (RTO) status. - Direct reports of 5 and indirect reports of 35 persons and a sales turnover of $18M in 2008- Turned the business from a loss making into a profitable organization.
