Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer for the Connecticut Green Bank, whose mission is to help ensure Connecticut’s energy security and community prosperity by realizing its environmental and economic opportunities through clean energy finance and investments. The Green Bank is a quasi-public authority that promotes investment in clean energy in accordance with a comprehensive plan to foster the growth, development and commercialization of clean energy sources, related enterprises, and stimulates demand for clean energy and deployment of clean energy sources that serve enduse customers in the state. As the nation’s first full-scale clean energy finance authority, the Green Bank leverages public and private funds to drive investment and scale-up clean energy deployment in Connecticut. As CIO, responsible for the development and management of a range of financing programs for the residential, commercial/industrial and MUSH sectors using a variety of financial approaches to increase the state’s investment in clean energy including senior and subordinated / mezzanine credit facilities, securitizations, loan syndications, partnerships, crowd funding, green bonds (ABS, municipal and federal tax subsidy bonds), loan guarantees, insurance / performance guarantees, tax equity financing, loan loss reserves and other credit enhancement mechanisms, and other low-cost financing arrangements.

Direct all accounting, financial control, portfolio management and operations – including credit underwriting and risk management, energy asset management, funding, human resources, legal, governance and systems (IT/Accounting) – for this privately held arranger and adviser of more than $25 billion in total financings. Structured a variety of financings, including loans, leases, mezzanine and partnership equity in aircraft and energy space.
