Na 2 periodes van 4 jaar statutair afgetreden. Mooie periode met grote organisatorische ontwikkelingen achter de rug.

Na 10 jaar voorzitterschap van deze mooie vereniging ben ik op de jaarvergadering van 11-3-2019 afgetreden. Hopelijk wordt er snel een geschikte kandidaat gevonden.

Met veel plezier kijk ik terug op 4 jaar als lid van de Raad van Toezicht van Stichting Initia. Langs deze weg wens ik bestuur, management en RvT veel succes bij het realiseren van de gestelde doelen in de komende jaren.

Kortlopende projecten/opdrachten in het kader van onderwijs en arbeidstoeleiding of interim management nog wel mogelijk als zzp' er.

As an expert involved in the transnational project:Active Inclusion Learning Network - NOMSAimed at assessment of programs and interventions used in different European countries.- The Troubled Families event, in London, UK, on 9-10th April- The Disaffected Youth event, in Stockholm, Sweden,on 19-20th May-The Marginalised in Communities event, Athens, Greece on 11-12th JuneThe National Offender Management Service (NOMS) for England and Wales is currently managing an European Social Fund (ESF) trans-national Network, funded through the European Commission, called the Active Inclusion Learning Network.The Network is looking at the themes of Troubled Families, Disaffected Youth and Marginalised in Communities. Its aim is to tackle unemployment amongst these disadvantaged groups by enhancing social inclusion and preventing stigmatisation. NOMS is looking for participants with expertise in the field of social inclusion to attend these events, where they will contribute to the reviewing process of collected practices about the inclusion of vulnerable groups into the labour market.

In augustus 2015 gaat de huidige bovenschools/algemeen directeur met pensioen. Het bestuur heeft besloten om zorgvuldig en met respect voor alle betrokkenen de vervanging voor te bereiden. Hierbij betreft het niet alleen de vervanging van de directeur; het bestuur wil tevens onderzoeken wat een gewenste managementstructuur is en welke competenties en kennis hiervoor vereist zijn. Mijn taak is om een analyse te maken van de huidige aansturing van de onderwijsteams op de scholen en op basis daarvan het bestuur te adviseren hoe de gewenste aansturing er uit zou kunnen zien en welke procedure gevolgd kan worden om dit te realiseren. Tevens dienen er profielschetsen gemaakt te worden voor de leidinggevende functies.

Managing of several European Fund Projects.2013:By order of Foundation 180 (Work-Wise) associated in the EXIT-project of IGA (crime prevention fund) in Bulgaria.Involved in setting up a network of enterprises where young people with behavioural problems guided by individual routing counsellors can get a job in combination with vocational training.

Project leader of a Work-Wise project called: Action plan youth unemployment.This project was funded by the Ministry of VWS and was focussed on boys and girls who have been staying in juvenile prisons as well as in closed ytouth care institutions, but also on drop-outs in a few big cities. The goal was to lead them back to work/school or a combination of those two and to realise active inclusion for a longer time.
