As the Head of Roads North America at Vaisala Inc., I am responsible for leading and driving our road-focused business initiatives across the region. Direct sales responsibility for client account and relationship development over a regional territory in North America consisting of 8 senior company account states. Successfully identify and close business opportunities in order to exceed annual order intake goals. Collaborate with North American sales team in analyzing market trends and developing strategies to meet annual team targets. Utilize and leverage Salesforce CRM to manage sales pipeline and provide companywide visibility to upcoming opportunities for sales, material and production forecasting. Industry focus on transportation based clients in ground and aviation operations. • Manage inside sales and outbound/prospecting sales personnel. • Assist clients with the management of Regional and Statewide RWIS/ITS programs for multiple agencies including Departments of Transportation, international and regional airports, and municipal agencies. • Perform technical presentations at industry conferences.
