Single Point of Accountability and formal company Ownership (Project Director role) for/of the major Capital Projects in the "Modernization Scope" (DAV2, DGRS, Coker & VGO) at Ploesti Petrom Refinery, Romania. Combined project scope, close to 700 million, delivered according pre-defined project drivers and delivering even better than expected operational results

Overall strategic and direct operational leadership of major European refinery upgrade program with major grass root investment at the heart and several debottlenecking revamps and infrastructural upgrades around that. Highly divers and international project team with dual base in the Netherlands and Mumbai, India. Project was delivered successfully as are the operational results up until today

Project Procurement Management in international (global) major capital project environment. Projects in Europe, US and Canada. Major attribute here was the "BSL Venture". The Dow Chemical Company bought and invested in the Dow Olefinverbund: Schkopau, Leuna , Böhlen in Saxony-Anhalt and Saxony. Project Procurement Management was organized from Houston (USA) & Rotterdam (NL). The latter 50% was a personal journey and experience. Also the very successful "Emerg0 Project" (Naphtha Cracker(s) + infrastructure) in Terneuzen (NL), TIC 1 billion which came in close to 20% under budget (and according schedule) was especially rewarding

Delegated/training from SIPM to Shell Site “Moerdijk” as “preventive maintenance inspector” (Plant Inspector) on both the MLO and MSPO plant, responsible for the maintenance interface and involved in coordination and execution of TAR’s.

Delegated/training by SIPM to Shell Site “Pernis” as “Non Destructive Testing Inspector” on several plants on the site and as such involved in regular maintenance as well as TAR’s.
