Design: As equipment and pipe stress engineer, I am familiar with pressure integrity calculations for (re)design of pressure vessels, storage tanks, shell-and-tube heat exchangers and pipe fittings according to different international construction codes. This also includes set up of pipe specifications. I verify design of new and existing piping systems by means of static and dynamic pipe stress analyses according to different international construction codes. I assist in compiling PED technical data books in order to get approvals from notified bodies.Reliability: I am able to assume responsibility for the development and implementation of facility and equipment reliability strategies. I analyze plant performance and advice opportunities to increase reliability. I also provide input to turnaround scope, participate and lead root cause investigations of unplanned reliability events.As an engineering professional I am able to see the wider scope of my work.
