    The Netherlands Materiel and IT Command (COMMIT) is part of the Ministry of Defence. The COMMIT is the Military Type Certificate Holder Organisation (MTCHO) for the weapon systems of the Royal Netherlands Air Foce (RNLAF). As a mechanics engineer for the C-130H(-30) Hercules aircraft I am responsible for certification of repairs, design changes, engineering dispositions, modifications, technical publications etc. in order to supply the operator and maintenance organisation with the required approved data. Furthermore, We have frequently contact with the US Air Force, Lockheed Martin, Rolls-Royce, Collins Aerospace (formerly Hamilton Sundstrand), StandardAero, other vendors and other operators. My specializations are propulsion / gas turbine engines, APU, rotor/propeller, drivetrain, flight performance, aerodynamics.
