The output includes the benchmarking overview, an EY point of view on your organisation, opportunities identified and a roadmap on how to take your organisation to the target level. I have conducted over 100 of these workshops and the feedback from the C-suite and Boards has been very positive.

I was Oceania Leader for Strategic Growth Markets at EY and a member of the Oceania Markets Leadership team. My key objective was to execute the strategy and strengthen the EY brand in the Mid Market area across the region. I was the Eastern Region Director for the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year programme, which celebrates Australia’s rich entrepreneurial traditions and successes.My role included working with Australian Private Equity firms and their portfolio companies nationally as well as ASX listed and large privately held businesses.

Bert's responsibilities include the Ernst & Young Driving Growth Forum and Entrepreneur of the Year program.

I am Chairman of the Board of Dutchlink Limited, the Dutch Australian Chamber for Commerce, Culture and Sports. Dutchlink supports the Dutch community of Sydney based professionals as well as Sydney based Dutch Multinationals. We organise public events on topics which illustrate the connection between the Netherlands and Australia and which celebrate diversity of thought, the arts, science and political life. Dutchlink also organises closed breakfast sessions for business leaders based in Sydney.

Bert was the Director for Business Development for Royal Bank of Canada in Australia. Bert was responsible for marketing the Custodial Back Office Outsource solution to the Funds Management market locally.

Bert was responsible for Optus' business with major financial institutions including various investment banks as well as two of the major Australian banks. Bert also ran several of the newly developed solutions which took advantage of the development of the internet at the time.
