HiI would describe myself as a derailed biologist with a profound interest in applying scientific insights to grow plants.I'm currently involved in a variety of projects that focus on optimising the way we grow fruits and vegetables in protected environments. Ranging from greenhouses to indoor vertical farms. I'm eager to learn about new technologies and methods and how they can lead to a more sustainable way of producing our foods. I like to work towards solutions that can be implemented by professional growers on a short timescale. Given my background as a Phd I approach challenges in a well structured manner and always try to back proposed solutions and findings with scientific insights.Topics I focus on the most:- Leek and Strawberry young plant production in indoor vertical farms - Optimisation of LED light application in terms of plantphysiology and energy input.
