As a Quality Competence, Training and Development Lead, I am involved in those areas within the Business Line Defense where Quality in the broadest sense traditionally is a concern. Main target of my role is to change the quality culture from reactive to pro-active.In this role I support the sites in the Business Line Defense with their struggle, where the emphasis lies in:- Setting up training programs for each role affecting the quality of products and services;- Leading teams in determining specific Learning & Development requirements (learning, training on the job (TWI) and developing knowledge and skills). These Learning & Development teams consist of representatives of departments like: Quality, HR, Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, etc.Additionally I am involved in:- supporting problem analysis, using various methods: - RCCA - 5 Why - Ishikawa - 8D problem solving - ..- support preparation for audits by certifying bodies

The Quality Excellence Department has been established to address and identify areas within the business that have traditionally been a concern. In my role as QE Development Lead I will support the sites in the region Europe and APAC and the Business Line Quality Systems Directors to identify needs, close gaps and continue to mitigate risks and mature the organization relating to capability in Quality Excellence Systems.The Fokker Aerostructures site in Hoogeveen remains my home base, where I will continue to see many of you in my new role.
