Bertha Lynn Davis (“Bertha/Lynn”) is a playwright, film maker, life coach and retired corporate Human Resources leader. Bertha/Lynn retired, or “graduated,” as she prefers to say, after 33 years of service from the Procter & Gamble Company in 2022 where she concluded her career as the Director of Human Resources, Global Hair Care. Soon after, she founded Three Babies Productions (3BP), a production company that combines her business experience and her passion for the arts and people. Under 3BP, Bertha/Lynn wrote and produced the stage play titled “It’s Complicated”, which resulted in three sold-out shows, delighting audiences of 500+. She’s also written a 10-minute play titled “Boy Meets Girl” which was selected for the Cincinnati Playwrights Initiative 2023/2024 New Voices series at the Fifth Third Bank Theater. “Boy Meets Girl” and her transition from corporate to playwright was featured in an article in the Cincinnati Business Courier . The latter is now a short film playing in select theaters.Beyond 3BP, she was featured in the stage play “All Things Made New an Urban Christmas Tale'' as the Ghost of Christmas Past, appeared in small parts in the film “Turning Tables”, and served as a writer on Season 1 of the web series Around The Way Girls, all produced by Throne of Grace Productions. In addition to her creative endeavors, Bertha/Lynn is a Human Resources Consultant for a local non-profit. Bertha/Lynn also serves her community as an active member of the Martin Luther King Jr. Coalition Cincinnati, as the Communications Leader, and was featured for the Coalition’s work on Star 64’s Cincinnati Issues segment. Bertha/Lynn further serves her community by leading Beulah Missionary Baptist Church’s (BMBC) youth ministry, teaching BMBC’s Women at Work: Monthly Series on Faith, and creating the Paulmeadows neighborhood “Inclusion Walk and Talk” program.
