Dr. Bertha-Elena Rojas is the Principal of Humanity Advanced, LLC. She is a Clinical Neuropsychologist and an Educator. She is a consultant to the MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), school districts and community organizations. Her consulting services integrate Neuroscience, Education, Psychology, Equity and Wellness paradigms. Dr. Rojas uses her experience in school leadership and management to support school districts with Multilingual Learners and Dual Language Education programs in multiple capacities, including program evaluation, professional development for teachers and school leaders, and family/community engagement. She has been a curriculum designer for youth development and youth leadership programs for multilingual learners and their families as well as lead designer for Social-Emotional Learning programs for families and for Mindfulness and Meditation programs as catalyst for collective change. Currently, she is the Project Lead and designer of the Family Institute for Student Success (FISS) in collaboration with DESE. FISS is a family engagement institute aimed to strengthen partnerships between families and schools to support youth development and academic success. Dr. Rojas is a Board Member and the Advocacy Chair of the Multi-state Association for Bilingual Education (MABE), and Advisory Board member and Chair of the Latino Education Institute at Worcester State University.
