***I am writing my dissertation on art therapy for transgender and gender non-conforming people experiencing mental health difficulties and welcome any input from those with experience in this field.I did my undergraduate degree in English Language at Aston University, followed by my PGCE through BCU. I worked as a primary school teacher for 7 years in the UK and the UAE before deciding on a change of career path. I am currently retraining as an Art Psychotherapist at Sheffield Hallam University. As part of the course, I am on placement in the NHS CAMHS and CTLD teams.
