Educated carpenter with certificate of apprenticeship.- Started my working career in Stokke (Varièr) as a co-worker in the carpentry.- Moved to the ship building industri after two years because of recession in the furniture industri.- At first I produced custom furnitures, later on I build accommodations on board.- I obtained a promotion and strated working as Field Manager, Wheel house.- A possition as Field Manager in the furniture segment was established and I was asked to take the job. I did this work for about two and a half year.- The Department Manager position got avaliable, I applied and was awarded the job. In this job I had the overall responsibility for a department consisting of approx 40 employees on two independent shipyards within the group.- In 2010 there was made a decision in the board to establish an accommodation company by merging the carpentry department from three separate ship yards.- In this company I had the position as Production Manager, Furniture.- The company grew fast and after a while there was a need of reorganization.- There was made a decision to certify the company according to the ISO 9001:2008 standard. There also was a need for an HSE responsible. The company got certified in December 2013.- I was awarded the position as HSE&Q Manager in April 2013.- In 2015 the HSE&Q Manager role was made a shared resource between Vard Accommodation and Vard Piping.- In December 2019 I started in the HSE Manager position in Vard Electro.- I have taken several courses within the field of HSE&Q in the time span between 2015 and 2021.- In 2015 I completed a TQM study at the College in Bergen (HiB)-In 2016 I attended a LEAN study at the Collage in Bergen (HiB)-Accredited Risk Manager in Oct. 2017-In 2018 I studied HSE Management and transformation at the College in Bergen (HiB)In 2021 I completed the study Coaching as a managerial tool at the Collage in Bergen (HiB)
