TransPak, founded in Silicon Valley in 1952, was acquired by my family in 1969. We were there as the Valley developed from rows of orchards into the technology capital of the world. My mom ran the books and my dad managed sales and operations. During that time, I learned about the business from the bottom up. I started as a summer intern in high school working in the shop assembling packaging.After graduating from college, I moved from the shop into the office where I worked on everything from office administration to packaging design. I still remember bringing the first computer into our office. Since those early years, I have worked in many departments at TransPak. Following my mom’s transition in 2002 from CEO to her current role as Chairwoman, I am grateful to work with TransPak team members at 24 locations in nine countries around the globe. Our mission at TransPak is to deliver peace of mind by protecting our customers’ key assets on their global journey. For almost 70 years, TransPak has provided innovative and cost-effective design, crating, packaging, and global logistics for our customers as a one-stop partner. All of our efforts are fully supported by a friendly and experienced team, advanced communications, and tracking and design technology linked through our worldwide locations. We pride ourselves on our ability to get things done and truly #MakeItHappen.In addition to my leadership role at TransPak, I love family time, skiing, and biking. I got my pilot license in 1984 and I am happiest up in the air, sharing my passion for flying with others.
