Success in today’s economy requires innovation.Innovation requires a new approach to existing problems. Experience does not necessarily equate to innovation. Too often, experience results in more of the same, with a new face.Innovation occurs when a new basis of analysis is applied to existing problems. My recent completion of a MS Physics degree was focused on theoretical physics and digital communication theory. The new degree validates a new, strong theoretical understanding of quantum mechanics, electrodynamics, and atmospheric dynamics. This ability to approach mathematical modeling of dynamic systemsreinforces the critical necessity for adequate models in order to provide a project with optimum engineering results.Computer modeling work utilizing C++ and Matlab was done while a graduate student.New solutions require new approaches and a different perspective on the issue. My varied background experience and unique education allows this perspective. The use of nmodeling offers a cost effective pathway to optimization of solutions.The previous consulting professional electrical engineering experience was based on a BS Electrical Engineering / Physical Oceanography studies. My abilities/outlook are now organized and strengthened with the formal theoretical training obtained in my new MS Physics graduate level effort.
