I cover live streaming of major industry conferences on theCUBE, writing live tweets on Silicon Angle's Crowd Chat that feeds Twitter at the rate of a tweet a minute. I also curate analysis published on www.Wikibon.com, which s the Silicon Angle Media industry analysis site. These are published on SiliconAngle.com. I also write articles for SilconAngle.com.

I am a full-time freelance IT report writer, book doctor and journalist with 25 years experience in the computer industry. From Tweets and blogs to white papers and books, you supply the information and I craft the words. My clients have included ComputerWorld Online, for which I wrote a weekly column on network issues, and Wikibon (www.wikibon.org) for whom I write case histories and edit a newsletter on storage issues. My other clients include Saugatuck Technology (www.saugatech.com), and, Solix Technologies (www.solix.com).

I run a daily social media campaign for Saugatuck Technology, an ISG company, on Twitter and LinkedIn, summarizing major points from Saugatuck research. I work with the Saugatuck analysts to create Perspectives that are published behind the Saugatuck pay wall and contribute occasional blog posts of my own to the public side of the Saugatuck site.

I contribute to the writing and editing on major reports based on META Group material that the company then sells. I also created Daily Wire, a daily commentary on IT news, based on discussions every morning by META Group’s top analysts, that was published on the public portion of the META Group Web site (www.metagroup.com) for two years. My contract allows me to do limited amounts of freelance writing.

Editor, Report on Healthcare Information Management Capital Publishing I wrote and had independent editorial control over this monthly newsletter starting with its April 1998 issue through its final (January 1999) issue.Contributor to Stratton Publishing and Marketing Inc., Arlington, VA.My articles appeared in three of their publications: Independent Gasoline Marketing, the magazine of the Society of Independent Gasoline Marketers of America; Osteopathic Progress, the newsletter of the American Osteopathic Hospital Association; and The Performance Advantage, the magazine of the American Production and Inventory Control Society. I also have written and done research for Healthcare Informatics, Health Management Technology and a variety of private clients.

IT Report was 12-page publication for healthcare CIOs covering information technology in health care, co-published by the American Hospital Association. Previously I was editor of Information Management Week, a four-page weekly covering technological issues. A monthly four-page insert, Perspectives, covered important issues in depth. Although most were written by outside experts, I wrote several. July 1996 through January 1998

My monthly syndicated column on business uses for computer technologies was published in more than 15 vertical industry magazines. I wrote reports for META Group and for the Information Management Forum in Atlanta, an organization of the CIOs of major North American corporations including Harris Corp., John Hancock and Texas Instruments. In 1994-'95 I researched and wrote a multiclient study on product counterfeiting in the printing industry for BIS Strategic Decisions. I also edited and did desktop publishing for a book on disaster planning in Turkey for World Bank.

I wrote reports on the computer industry in close conjunction with Gartner Group's extensive staff of top analysts. I designed, wrote and published Trip Report, an 18-to-24 page newsletter summarizing the presentations at each of Gartner Group's 18 annual computer industry conferences published for attendees at the end of each conference. I also designed, wrote and published the $WAMI Newsletter, covering the meetings of the $oftWare Asset Management Interest Group, a user group started by Gartner Group's Software Management Strategies (SMS) service.

I created the "Trip Report" newsletter which was given to each attendee of Gartner's U.S. conferences. This provided summaries of the major points of the presentations at the conference. I also created the $oftware Asset Management Interest Group newsletter ($WAMI).

I published regularly in Personal Computing, Popular Computing, Computer Graphics World, PC Magazine, Computer Decisions, ComputerWorld, High Technology, Popular Science, and Working Woman. I wrote VideoPrint, an 18-page newsletter in the videotex industry published twice a month, for three years. I visited France as a guest for the French government and Canada as a guest of the Canadian government, covering videotex in those countries.
