It became obvious when I was eight and the afternoon screening of Aladdin was sold out, and my mom and I waited two anxious yet magical hours for the next screening - I had a craving for film.After some volunteering and internships, my first real job in the film industry was at MEDIA Desk, where I got to know the sector in all its sections - creative development, production, financing, distribution, marketing, exhibition, innovation. I had the chance to travel across Europe, go to festivals and trainings, and learn at high speed.And the high speed went on. For 7 years, I was responsible for the programming and communication at KASKcinema, an arthouse in Ghent with a soft spot for unusual films and events. It's located within the art academy where I teach and function as ombudsperson and confidential advisor, a throwback to my original degree in psychology.At the beginning of 2014, Brecht Van Elslande and I also launched our own company. As Animal Tank, we produce audiovisual work with an edge. My main focus has become screenwriting, working on several projects with several directors.
