The Marine Tactical Air Command Squadron provides the personnel, facilities and tactical data systems which enable the Air Combat Element Commander and Battle Staff to manage Marine and Joint aviation assets. Major focus areas• coordinate department head staff actions in support of the Commander's vision and Squadron mission while serving as an advisor on issues pertaining to personnel, equipment and operational readiness• review and uphold policies and operational procedures; assist the Commanding Officer in preserving morale, welfare and cohesion of personnel• chair Force Preservation Councils with key staff to identify at-risk personnel due to external influences; develop get-well plans, monitor and advise leadership• coordination with higher headquarters and Marine Corps Manpower Management Support Branch to reduce personnel shortfalls in key staff positions• serve as the security manager and supervise the electronic key management systems chief and classified material custodian ensuring execution of monthly spot checks, review destruction reports and ensure adherence to procedures

Program Officer, National Police for the southwest area of Afghanistan through a Marine Expeditionary Force level staff. Plan schedule, budget and manage the implementation of projects and programs in support of the Ministry of Interior, Government of Afghanistan across two provinces. Major focus areas:• facilitate growth and development of a well-staffed, trained and equipped Afghan National Civil Order, Regional and Border Police Force, capable of upholding rule-of-law • organize efforts with subordinate task forces to develop the Afghan National Police table of organization and equipment uplift strategic plan• oversee contracting of construction or refurbishment of Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Police facilities and infrastructure• identify personnel and equipment growth impacts to the national strategic budget; secure sustainment funding and justify emergent requirements• manage literacy development resources with the Education Division, NATO Training Mission – Afghanistan, a multinational military organization• monitor the force and complete assessment reports in order to measure the effectiveness of security development activities and operations

Led Marine and support contract personnel subject matter experts in providing technical consultation and over-the-shoulder training of Marine Corps communication and information systems. Effort supported Multinational Forces West during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
