Currently I am running my law firm, Savage Villoch Law, PLLC, in Tampa, FL focusing on bankruptcy, financial loss recovery, and insurance litigation.Prior to returning to private practice, I worked for five years as a law professor. As an Associate Law Professor as the founding director of a Tampa Bay legal clinic focusing on debt relief. In this role, I established the clinical program focusing on assisting indigent people with various issues, primarily consumer law related. In addition to teaching the Debt Relief Clinic I taught Pre-Trial Skills and Consumer Law.While Assistant Professor at Florida International University College of Law (FIU COL) 2010-2013, I founded the Investor Advocacy Clinic. I also developed and taught classes related to securities arbitration. Prior to becoming a professor, I developed broad business and legal experience in areas including corporate formation, operations, employment issues, and litigation.My legal practice is focused on litigation, including securities fraud and mismanagement, and insurance issues. I have successfully arbitrated a large number of stock fraud claims and negotiated client settlements exceeding eight million dollars in stock fraud matters alone.Specialties: While not a 'specialist' as defined by the Florida Bar, I do focus my practice on some areas including: stock fraud and investment losses, insurance disputes and other business disputes. I represent individuals before state and federal regulatory bodies and I represent individuals in state and federal court.
