About Bertrand Wilson

Hi, I’m Bert Wilson. I’m a mainframe developer with over 30 years of experience developing and supporting systems for Fortune 500 corporations. I’m also a life-long learner and have, within the past few years, developed an interest in data science and machine learning through earning certifications from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Stanford University, and UC San Diego. I have also earned an Advanced Data Analytics certificate from Google. My main strengths reside in analysis/problem-solving and communication. Outside of work I have a strong interest in chess. In high school I earned the title National Master from the United States Chess Federation and have had articles published in state-wide chess journals. I have also coached individual teenagers and high school teams. I also serve on the board of directors of three locally-based nonprofits.
