Started as team leader of the hardware development team, later team leader and scrum master of several software development teams. S.I.T. develops and manufactures systems designed for the safety, comfort and performance of gas equipment. The company is present in over 30 countries with 1.500 employees. Sales offices are located in 22 countries throughout Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Australia, while the ten production plants are located in Italy, the Netherlands, Romania, Mexico, Argentina and China.Responsible for the New Product Introduction process, from the first draft of the specification to the first production series. Development of fail safe electronics designed for manufacturability, low cost and good quality. Design for manufacturing is done by involving all relevant people during the complete development process. The project team consists out of people from sales, purchasing, quality, production engineering and R&D. Communication with customers regarding the planning, specification, etc. Reporting to an Italian R&D manager.Also supporting the Sales department in the Netherlands for all technical matters. Meetings with Dutch customers during the initialization phase of potential projects. Providing estimations of product cost and project cost to the Sales department to make quotations.

Measuring and analysing the quality of the electronics production. Addressing all internal quality issues by arranging corrective actions and implementing preventive actions. Member of the Quality improvement team, to improve the quality of products looking at the manufacturability. Updated the New Product Introduction procedure and documents in collaboration with people from R&D.
