The National Blood Transfusion Service is the sole institution responsible for coordination of blood transfusion activities over the National territory. It's mission is to ensure the availability and accessibility of safe blood and blood products all over the national territory.As the Regional coordinator, I ensure to represent the NBTS at the regional level through meeting different local authorities and administrators about blood donations in the region.Organizing meetings with Associations working for Blood Donation and blood transfusion centers to teach and supervise their activities to ensure it is accordance with national guidelines.Collecting statistics about Blood Transfusion in the region and analyzing to understand the situation if blood transfusion in the regionSensitize as many as possible about the importance of blood donation and increase voluntary blood donations over paid donations
