A twelve-year veteran of Al Jazeera Media Network, Basheer Arnus developed and led a number of the most popular online news portals in the Arab World including his most recent ventures Noonpost News Website and Astrolabe News App. In both of these initiatives, Basheer is redefining the digital newsroom as not just a new set of technologies, but also a different way of working with content. In 2016 Basheer established Viral Medya in Istanbul, Turkey providing media services including but not limited to: online content, online video, internet advertising, online platforms, professional blogging, business development, product marketing, business planning, mergers, and acquisitions. He is also the joint owner of Tunisia based Instalingo, providing content solutions through the latest trends in the translation and localization industry.
