Accurate online, front desk information and customer service are a priority at Copperview. Manage site, programs, communication and its security. Supervise and manage two full and 10-30 part time staff. Ensure County policies and procedures are followed on a daily basis. Manage expenders and revenue of facility and programs. Marketing of site to area residence and community partners. Community outreach and connections with area Canyon School District elementary, junior and high schools, Canyons School District Administration. Partner organizations..Boys and Girls Club & Midvale City CBC offices, and Midvale City.Over the past three years the center has increased participation in youth sports by modifying program to allow for better access for low income families. Our positive presence in the elementary schools has increased the community awareness of the center and its programs. In addition our fitness membership base has increased. Work with one site community partners: English Skills Learning Center, South Valley food panty, Head Start, Utah Partners for Health, Community Access to Technology computer lab. Member of Safe Kids Salt Lake County committee. Organize SL Co. recreation booth at the Safe Kids annual safety fair; recruit staff, gather prizes and create marketing material.Member of Midvale United; committee created Midvale Miles....ten sustainable walking or running routes in Midvale City. Key Member of the Midvale Advancement Project and Community subcommittee. Annually Copperview participates in the Midvale City Cindo De Mayo and Harvest Days events. Supervised land classes, fitness and aerobics programs. Organized fitness incentive programs. Supervised personal trainers, seasonal and year round part time staff. Programed youth sports (soccer, t-ball, expanded ski program). Created and implemented summer camp program and Disc Golf tournament. Assisted with creation of County Wide Fitness Challenge program.

Working with other SL County peers from different agencies, nurses and deputies. Provide a safe place for individuals to stay isolated as they wait for test results or until Covid symptoms pass.

Greater Salt Lake City Area

At original JCC location on 1700 South 2416 East. Assisted with opening and closing of outdoor pool. Assisted with scheduling teaching, lifeguard staff and public swim lessons.

Salt Lake City

Taught early morning fitness/running class, sophomore and senior physical education, freshman health, young women's weight lifting. Created a holistic curriculum for Fitness for Life class; class combined sophomore, juniors and seniors in same class room. Incorporated healthy eating, introduction to different exercise options, mental health and coping with peer pressure. Class became a safe environment for the students, barriers were broken down, students listened with respect and empathy towards each other. Monitored environmental and outdoor recreation clubs. Active member of staff and faculty appreciation committee.
