I gained experience in print before it sorta died, mostly as a writer, but also editing and proofreading. Then, I moved to the web. I've been project managing, producing, writing, editing, coordinating, planning and strategizing for years. Tl;dr: I've worked in tech for a long time in many different roles.My work mantra: Communication is key.I live in Portland, OR now, where I've been doing project management and coordinator jobs (mostly web and software). Technical PM work has been my recent focus, but now I'm expanding my skills more and trying to find new opportunities to grow. While I will happily do producer and PM work in areas I already know, I'm also open to stretching myself to learn new roles and work in different industries.In general these days, I'm a (cliché warning) Jack-of-all-trades across multiple fields. I have previous experience related to music, video, entertainment, and retail (including A LOT of customer service and client & vendor relations), but more recently I've been working with non-profits, medical groups, and smaller companies who focus on under-served communities.
