* Acquired sole responsibility for Enterprise Directory Webservice. This webservice facilitated applications on the UCLA campus with the ability to provide real-time updates to UCLA's identity management directory. The UI was built with a clear separation of semantic markup, css visual styling, and object-oriented Javascript functionality for modularity and maintainability. The development of the AJAX based UI utilized the best practices of progressive enhancement and unobtrusive JavaScript. The purpose of the UI was to manage groups and group privileges in order to provision users with access privileges to other applications and sensitive resources. * Lead developer for providing technical maintenance on a subscriber portal and web management system for the Novell Technical Subscriptions program. The Novell Technical Subscriptions program provides service to 10,000 active subscribers and generates 1.4 million in annual revenue.* Created an API to interface with the SecurePay payment processor. This API receives and processes all credit card transactions made to the Novell Technical Subscriptions program. * One of two developers to implement the replacement for the Novell Patchbuilder system and supporting infrastructure. Patchbuilder is a unified delivery system for all of Novell's product patches. * Assumed the role of lead developer for the Patchbuilder provider interface after its initial deployment. Balanced time between providing customer service and training with the development of crucial enhancements. Was instrumental in making decisions on the direction of the project. Gained a firm understanding of the patch delivery industry to facilitate external customers and support engineers with solutions to their business requirements.Engineered a patch search portal based on customer feedback. The search portal was received with a very positive customer response which improved overall perception of Novell's patch delivery service. * Architect of a Java webservice to facilitate the automatic delivery of SuSE Linux patches from Nuremberg, Germany through the Patchbuilder provider interface to Novell's global download repository. Was the only engineer involved in the design and construction of this system. Traveled to Nuremberg, Germany to work closely with the SuSE patch engineers to obtain the business requirements. This webservice established seamless communication between multiple systems distributed across the globe. With the completion of this project the response time for delivering a patch to the customer was dramatically decreased.

* Wrote documentation for and tested the DeviceView application. This web-based application was critically important to the success of emWare. * Preformed a key role in reviewing all documentation content for consistency with the DeviceView application. This greatly offloaded emWare's small documentation team and helped ensure that the documentation goals were met according to schedule.
