The BRB/BHB project(s) was first launched from a dormitory room in Cervantes Village; an area of NMSU’s campus family housing. Almost immediately, the company out-grew its facilities. In an effort to sustain this fledgling student production, NMSU’s President Michael Martin agreed to assist and support the venture and allocated office space in ‘Regents’ Row’; former student dormitories now in use by the College of Education as business offices. In March of 2006, the student members of BRB/BHB began occupying rooms 102 and 104 of ‘Regents’ Row’. They occupied this location for two years, until achieving commercial success and relocating to their present location at Baylor Canyon Studios located in the foothills of the Organ Mountain.Some of BRB/BHB’s current projects include: The PBS television program A Wider World (associate producer) Feature films Sidwell (Cody Dalton), and Eight Point Devil (Mike Cramer) and of course the international children’s program Raven Tales (Chris Kientz).Past productions include: educational comedies (WHAT IT TAKES!), informative documentaries (DBR 500), the Michael Martin Murphey Benefit Concert series,.the NO MORE VICTIMS benefit and awareness concert, and the State Convention for the American Council of the Blind- These projects generate awareness and interest in the Las Cruces media scene from national retailers, sponsors and foundations. .BRB/BHB projects have aired on local and regional PBS And CBS television affiliates, and internationally on the Farm and Ranch satellite channel and via the World Wide Web Radio production and voice services have all been well-received- especially the broadcast, "Best Heard Blind Extravaganza," a multi-program radio series that aired weekly on KRUX 91.5 FM Las Cruces and internationally via web stream at http://www.kruxradio.com/.
