A highly secure data co-location facility for various data processing enterprises. Coldwire operated under the name Southwest Data Centers ("SWDC"). Klein flipped the SWDC brand and its book of business to a larger competitor to exit the business.

Klein originally operated under the Betapoint Corporation (1999-2002) name providing outsourced IT services to a group of animal hospitals in the metro NYC area plus a large IVF facility in Fairfax, VA. Thereafter, Klein and his Weatherly Data team provided end user application support, custom application development, database management and data/network security to a group of infertility (IVF) centers. Mr. Klein served as the virtual CIO for his clients and was the technical lead for all the enterprise messaging systems and system-wide network/data security; he also managed the software development team that created and deployed a highly secure electronic medical records system.

In 1992, prior to joining Brill Securities, Inc ("BSI"), Mr. Klein was briefly at Bear, Stearns. Klein transferred his licenses to BSI in Mar 1993 for the express purpose of starting his hedge fund. After closing the fund, Klein managed various accounts, keeping his Series 7, 24, and 63 licenses active until March 2009.

Rising Stars was a seasonal indoor sports facility featuring organized sporting events on multiple turfed fields. Klein rescued and then expanded the initial business to include, during the summer months, the providing of all food services at an historic minor league baseball stadium: from upscale meals in the luxury SkyBox suites to standard “ballpark foods and beverages” at the fixed and roaming location food concessions.

Harrison Option Fund, LP (“HOF”) was a private investment partnership ("hedge fund") managed by Mitchell Capital, Inc. and open only to institutions, family offices, and accredited investors. HOF initially traded broad-market index derivatives then shifted to technology stocks, consistently outperforming the technology indices by wide margins. The Fund stopped taking new positions in Fall 1999. All of HOF's investors cashed out in a proper manner, profiting handsomely after all Fund fees and expenses.

Klein and his team were among the first developers of custom business software applications for the computer industry's first generation mini- and micro-computer systems. He and his team also wrote and deployed the first minicomputer-based tax audit software for the New York State (NYS) Dept of Taxation & Finance. Klein also ran mainframe-based data analyses for the largest data-sets then extant at the NYS Department of Education.
