Indianapolis, Indiana Area

Fire and Life Safety Inspections are completed for Health Care facilities. Documentation is provided for the various accreditation requirements. Plan reviews are completed for the renovations and additions to health care facilities for the location and/or architect/engineering company completing the work.

Complete fire and life safety inspections for primarily the health care industry. This includes providing clients with the documentation that is required for their accreditation surveys. Fire and life safety drawings are prepared, deficiency reports completed, and a checklist of the fire/life safety code requirements that are met or not met based on the survey. Plan reviews of renovations or additions are completed for the client or for the architect/engineer that is designing the project. There are also construction period services completed during the project to ensure the project is completed as planned. Code consulting is also done for a variety of clients to determine what is required for fire and life safety requirements.

Dallas/Fort Worth Area And Indianapolis In Area

Performed field surveys for potential and current policyholders to determine the level of protection that is provided for the hazards specific to that occupancy. Consulted with clients/customers regarding recommendations to properly protect hazards – whether it was process equipment, storage, etc. Sprinkler systems were analyzed and water supplies were tested annually for policyholders. Worked with underwriting to determine the customer service strategies for each client to reduce their loss exposures. I was an account manager for larger clients to ensure consistent customer service was being provided. Plan reviews on fire suppression systems to be installed and/or existing systems at the customer locations were also completed.

Completed surveys of a variety of clients; retail, warehousing, manufacturing, etc. for code compliance with NFPA standards. Fire alarm acceptance tests were completed for new installations. Sprinkler system analysis was completed to determine overall capacity. Recommendations were made to properly protect the facilities.
