I manage a team of four technical analysts to support research projects at the Pardee Center for International Futures. Our team owns web-scraping, pdf-scraping, and statistical modeling projects, primarily utilizing python and stata.

As a Senior Product Analyst nestled in the Ground Truth Operations team, I was responsible for supporting a large team of operations associates working on dozens of projects with data reporting and analysis. I build data models using Looker and worked with engineering to improve data infrastructure and capabilities. I worked closely with the data science team to deploy quality metrics to measure the quality of labeled data.

Hired as the first analyst for Veem, the role's responsibilities were limitless. I helped drive insights and data driven recommendations for every aspect of the company including sales, compliance, operations, financial modeling as well as overall performance metrics for the Board of Directors and to the company. I helped automate operational processes throughout the company to increase speed and efficiency. I also help the product team create specifications and prioritize features to move Veem forward.

My role as Data Analyst at Freeosk included many responsibilities. I developed new tableau reporting systems to measure Freeosk success and the performance of our programs for different clients. I also developed coding in SQL to pull results from different marketing ventures that our company has explored. I was responsible for mentoring and training our new analyst and interns. I also use many tools in including SQL, R, Excel and Tableau to help us answer questions related to the moving the business forward.

As a catastrophe risk analyst I was responsible for editing and formatting client exposure data and running them through statistics models to forecast potential losses from catastrophic events. This data was used for insurance companies to buy insurance to protect themselves against insolvency from huge, unexpected losses. I was responsible for aggregating data by exposure and losses and returning exhibits to clients. I also pulled commodity market data and predicted losses to crop insurance companies.

My internship with Norway House including writing blogs for Norway House’s website and posting regularly to twitter and Facebook. I recorded the social media performance and was able to increase engagement by 60% on Facebook and 80% on twitter. I also was responsible for transferring written information into the donation database.
