Working within the Marketing and Communications function responsible for the communication of Manufacturing, Logistic and Supply Chain messages to the wider business and key stakeholder management.Responsibilities included the creation and development of content for events and campaigns, including commissioning and briefing agencies for videos and campaign collateral.I was accountable for producing and editing copy for the internal communication channels, including weekly bulletins for each business area and content for the monthly magazine as well as site based communication zones, colleague intranet site and ongoing projects. My role was to ensure corporate and central messages are cascaded to sites across the UK whilst being a communications adviser to a variety of internal stakeholders, advising on the communication of their initiatives and writing and delivering communications plans.Project and communications planning and management was a key aspect of my role with responsibility for supplier liaison and negotiation.

I was responsible for the development and delivery of the Bupa UK Internal Communications events strategy, including end to end events project management for numerous simultaneous events.Delivered events included Bupa UK leadership conferences, business unit conferences, exhibitions, GAP International Breakthrough Thinking events, award ceremonies, colleague events and employee open forums.I was responsible for the creation of communication plans and event briefs for UK events and BCS recognition, communicating to groups ranging from 50 to 27,000 colleagues. Additionally responsible for creating communications collateral specifically for events including invitation process, joining instructions, posters and exhibition panels ensuring the Bupa brand, tone and style were adhered to engage employees.I was also accountable for the budget management of events ranging from £5,000 to £160,000 per event, a spend of over £900,000 per annum, venue sourcing and negotiation and the management of events suppliers and agencies.

I worked within the Internal Communications team of Bupa Care Services UK, communicating daily with over 27,000 employees at all levels. This included recognition scheme management, events management, producing daily newsletters, copy writing, monthly reporting, creation of campaign collateral, updating webpages and stakeholder consultation up to senior management team level.

Responsible for all events administration for a team of seven account managers, plus the additional duty of PA for the MD. Additonally responsible for hotel co-ordination for a calendar of events; this involved extensive client liaison and supplier negotiation.The role involved managing the business social media platforms and managing small marketing campaigns, including database administration and proactive sales.Promoted to Christmas Co-ordinator which involved bookings for private and public party nights, totally 16,000 guests over the party season.

Responsible for all administration on wholesale accounts including Debenhams, ASOS, Jaeger and M&S. Daily communication with both Far East suppliers and UK customers including range presentation in client meetings and cost price negotiations with suppliers. In addition responsible for product development and assisting designers in initial proposals using component design and photoshop.
