CurrentOverall Responsibility Maintain Supplier Database, International Assess, Evaluate and Qualify new suppliers Maintain ROHS Database along side Engineering Plan daily Purchasing Activities Communicate with Engineering and Quality Directors ongoingImplement plans and solutions to maximize efficiencyDevelop, maintain and enforce purchasing policy and procedures Negotiate and manage all Logistics Contracts US Customs Compliance and Customs House Broker relations Inventory control and inventory reduction Key Area of Responsibility- Supervise InternationalPurchasing Team and lead in accordance and objective of Pencom- Maintain a standard of ethics that is acceptable in today’s business- Maintain a good working relationship with Vendors and Pencom Sales- Ability to multi tasks on a minute to minute basis- Review Sales Request for quotes, prioritize and send out to vendors on a timely basis- Respond to Sales RFQ pricing timely basis- Support Upper Management in projects and implementing new procedures- Assist in staff training globally
