As a librarian with twenty-eight years of experience, I bring a unique perspective and a versatile skill set to this position. I left UNC Greensboro and now work for Oxford University Press as a Consortia Account Manager. In my seven years at UNC Greensboro as the Assistant Dean for Collection Management and Scholarly Communications and the previous thirteen years as the Electronic Resources Librarian, I saw how the development of new and more complex electronic resources has transformed the world of collection management and consortium agreements. Throughout my career, each of my positions has had some responsibility for providing statistical and budgetary reports for library administrations or for external organizations such as the American Library Association. At Greensboro College, I regularly presented a library report to the Board of Trustees Subcommittee on Academics and reported monthly book and serial budget balances to the Director. In my current position, I oversee the purchasing through the University Libraries $4.2 million Collection Budget. I monitor the budget throughout the fiscal year and review spending patterns.
