I have recently completed my PgDip in Education Studies and hold a 1st Class Honour BA in Early Childhood Studies from the University of Portsmouth. I have a passion for travel and experiencing new cultures and took a year out to travel to Australia and New Zealand in-between my BA and PgDip. I am particularly interested in working with young people and/or children with special education needs and disability. I have a variety of experiences in the childcare and education sector and am currently working as a SEN Teaching Assistant for Headstart School. I have experience of working in a team and leading a team, and have been able to develop excellent communication skills and organisational skills. Outside of work and education, I enjoy singing and music and have competed on the West End as part of a university show choir, I also enjoy learning new skills and currently in the process of undertaking a CPD course in Autism.
