The significant development of the service resulted in digitisation and automation of transactional activity (through CAPEX investment), and ensured both the alignment of our activity to the strategic needs of the organisation and a role as trusted advisor to the leadership team- Championing the organisation's commitment to EDI to achieve the Gender Tick, Rainbow Tick, and delivery of Pay Gap Reporting and action planning. These activities demonstrated the University's achievement of its strategic goal of being an inclusive workplace and informed development of targeted programmes to continue to build organisational capability equitably- Leadership of the Supporting Staff programme through COVID-19 delivering tools, guidance and support to leaders so that they could build and maintain team engagement based on the principles "take care of yourself, look after each other and deliver what matters"- Oversight of the implementation of the Independent Review recommendations, including the establishment of an independent employee ombuds service. This has provided leaders and employees with a new, constructive low-level approach to workplace conflict resolution

CMH provides health and disability services to over 500,000 people who reside in the local authorities of Auckland, Waikato and Hauraki District, with 7,500 employees working at sites across the district.Key achievements in this role include:-Leadership of the development of the organisation's people strategy to align culture, capability and systems development to the activity of the corporate HR, OD and professional development functions across the organisation. The collaborative approach to the development of the strategy ensured organisation buy-in and stakeholder confidence in the framework to guide, inform and monitor activity- Delivery of revised organisational values through a co-created programme which provided a clear shared understanding of the behaviours we love to see, expect to see and don't want to see, and tools to help people role model, speak up and appreciate each other- Simplification, alignment and automation of key policies and processes reducing bureaucracy, standardising operating procedures and minimising transactional errors.
