About Beth Callaghan
I am a hard-working, passionate First Class Biological Sciences graduate from the University of Edinburgh. In my degree I specialised in Molecular Genetics, taking particular interest in the molecular mechanisms of human disease. I have had the amazing opportunity to contribute to ongoing scientific research on human disease in both the fields of oncology and neurodegeneration, and expect to be a credited author for my work in the near future. I enjoy the opportunity to teach and inform others about science; with a great eye for detail, I am eager to further develop and employ my writing and communication skills so that I can apply my biological knowledge to increasing communication around scientific research.
