My role at Facebook was to deliver world class events for Facebook (Partnerships, Policy & Communications verticals) and Instagram across EMEA. Primarily for press, policy makers, platform influencers, and consumers to attend. Key Duties and Responsibilities: - Working alongside production agencies to produce a range of events across Europe, Middle East and Africa. Ensuring projects are fully scoped out and resources prioritisation skills when working across multiple different events per month.- Managing numerous EMEA based stakeholders, which requires strong communication and organisation skills. Helping define goals and creative at the start of a project; as well as planning and executing the events.- Accountable for managing project budgets, up to £1.5m, from start to finish and ensuring that events are delivered on time and to world class standards. - Sharing findings and learnings with my GME US equivalents and ensuring guidelines are adhered to for global campaigns. - Implementing clear workback plans on all projects to ensure deadlines are met and being reactive and resourceful when challenges arise.
