IT Project Manager currently serving the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in a modernization effort for applications supporting their Supervisory line of business. Project involves the identification of alternatives and requirements as well as the development of a business case to justify over $100m in IT investments. Responsibilities span project management, coordination of stakeholders across a dozen IT and business sections, strategy and development of the business case, and procurement related activities.

Project manager for the development of an Order Collaboration product offering for a startup B2B exchange. Project entailed a technical direct materials procurement solution as well as the establishment of processes and capabilities to launch the new offering in the market. Responsibilities included:- creating workplans and identifying activities necessary for both the technical and operational implementation- managing project execution by facilitating daily status meetings, issue identification, escalation, and resolution- coordinating efforts and ensuring collaboration among client, vendor, customer, and consulting team members- working with the OC team to identify and define necessary deliverables and ensure major milestones were achieved- escalating critical issues and opportunities to upper managementManaged phase 1 of a high-tech manufacturer’s Demand Planning project. The project involved the business design and technology enablement of worldwide demand planning and forecasting. Early stages of the project included business process redesign, technology assessment, and package selection.Managed the development of Demand Planning courseware and training materials for a large semiconductor company’s i2 implementation. Courseware included process redesign, functional changes, and technical training for over users throughout Europe, Asia, and North America.Developed a warranty information strategy business case. Responsibilities included interviewing individuals across organizations to identify current state warranty practices, researching warranty business and IT best practices across industries, and developing and delivering recommendations.Developed a pricing strategy for the introduction of a high-tech company’s server line. Project role included managing daily activities, serving as the primary client contact, conducting market research and statistical analysis, and developing and delivering client deliverables.

Developed metrics and tools to enable the Federal Marketing division to utilize customer information in segment and account management. Analysis included profitability, product breadth and depth, growth, and retention. Deliverable centered on a tiered reporting tool to identify and drill-down into segments and/or customers requiring additional attention.

Warranty Information Systems:Successfully redesigned and disengaged a heavy machinery company’s warranty system from its holding entity. This entailed coordinating processes, activities, and systems among 50 dealers and 4 corporate entities and implementing multiple software and communication packages.Software Selection:Worked with cross-functional client teams to redefine current business processes and facilitate the best software choice to meet the needs of a lift truck manufacturer. Led the functional area of product support throughout the process. Project was successfully completed on time and under budget, resulting in the installation of an enterprise-wide solution.Purchasing:Obtained and converted historical purchasing data from overseas subsidiaries to facilitate supplier searches. Completed project within 25% of budget and cut client’s supplier search time on historical parts by half.
