G-O-Metric, Inc. is a small manufacturing firm that sells metal air filters to companies all around the world. The company recently moved from New Jersey to Pennsylvania and required a lot of work on the operations side of the firm (which is why I was hired) as the two executive officers had engineering backgrounds. As part of my role, I was able to participate in the following:-Constructed ISO 9001-compliant quality manual and all accompanying forms in preparation for ISO certification audit-Calculated direct materials cost of all products and researched/ implemented best supplier choices to improve profit margins

-Utilized stakeholder feedback to redesign and automate (via VBA code) bimonthly demand signal report to more accurately and effectively communicate to 100+ employees; subsequently, ran these reports and oversaw their release-Developed automated demand planning tool that generates component-level inventory requirements for critical, long-lead products to maximize procurement planning opportunities in order to prevent supply bottlenecks-Improved reporting to Finance team by creating a Tableau dashboard that integrates shipping/ pricing data for all products-Tracked demand signals and adjusted orders in Oracle accordingly to support proper inventory levels for all sites

The Happy Cactus is a local business that sells plants, plant accessories, and decorations at local outdoor markets and its own small store. As part of this position, I participated in the following: -Executed site set up, take down, and transactions while engaging customers to generate $1,300 average daily revenue-Discerned consumer tendencies in order to refine go-to market strategy

-Evaluated the ethics, stability, finances, and maturity of prospective and current global suppliers to sustain low supplier risk-Performed market research and analyzed pricing data to advise on sourcing strategy in the Request for Proposal process-Drove transformation in the Procurement team by exploring potential expansion options and their costs, restructuring the shared database, and creating standardized reporting templates to innovate and streamline the newly formed team

-Wrote and uploaded detailed notes of lectures and discussions in class to an online database to support individual students who require educational assistance-Advanced equal educational opportunities for students of differing abilities in the "Financial Management" and "Innovation!" courses

I worked with young campers (age 2.5 years old) over the summer. I helped care for the children as they attended different activities, engaged in free play, and ate meals. It was amazing to make such strong connections even with young toddlers and I particularly enjoyed engaging them in educational activities and watching them grow as a result.
