Obtained emergency injunctive relief from the Appellate Division, First Department, temporarily staying enforcement of the regulation.-- Represented the estate of famous illustrator and author Maurice Sendak, in a dispute concerning the distribution of certain valuable assets in Connecticut Probate Court, which resulted in a favorable outcome at trial.-- Represented foreign liquidators for recognition under Chapter 15 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code, enforcing claims and discovery in U.S., which involved successfully defeating opposition to recognition at an evidentiary hearing.-- Successfully represented a selling agent and broker in breach of contract action involving $14+ million in damages against defendant pharmaceutical company for failure to pay investment fees.-- Successfully defend state and federal discrimination claims in the New York State Division of Human Rights.
