Musical Moments sessions are suitable for any group of residents including those who may be living with dementia. Many people in the group may be experiencing some degree of cognitive and/ or physical impairment associated with aging. We can adapt our activities to suit your group’s needs, and ability. Activities are responsive to each resident’s needs, are safe, caring, well-led and effective.Musical Moments provide interactive music based sessions that stimulate residents’ physical and mental activity, using both recorded and live music. Our award-winning sessions last for one hour, and in that hour we deliver several different types of activities including sing-alongs, live music, light exercise, reminiscence activities, relaxation exercises, quizzes and games with props. Our aim is to engage everyone in the room, making sure to include music from all eras and genres so that there’s something for everyone, often tailoring sessions to the specific needs and musical taste of the individual care setting. Sessions are easily accessible, multi-sensory, engaging and a lot of fun!
