After enjoying 6 years as a stay-at-home mum, I look forward to returning to the work force. As an undergraduate I studied Psychology with a focus on Pre-Med at Florida Gulf Coast University and Florida State University with the aim of transferring to FSU's Medical School in Tallahassee, FL.During my tenure as a student I founded a political club, boasting 800 members by the time I transferred and was responsible for orchestrating a local speaking engagement for the 2004 Vice Presidential candidate. I also acted in the capacity of Editor-in-Chief of the university paper, Eagle News, having worked my way up through the ranks beginning with Features Editor.I utilised these skills in subsequent employment, most germane as a Mental Health Associate and Unit Educator on the Adolescent Unit at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital Behavioral Health Center. Whilst managing the Department of Meteorology at FSU, I met my husband and elected to leave full-time employment to devote myself to my family. I remained active during those interim years, chiefly with my children's education in a variety of roles, including: Prop Manager for theatrical performances; home-schooling, which culminated in my son being a fluent reader by the age of three and published author by four; and managing and directing PB Camp, a summer enrichment program. I also wrote two children's stories and was prolific in poetry; organised local charitable events, most recently, the successful appeal of the City Council of Charlottesville, VA to rename a memorial bridge; and acted as Co-Director of my husband's consulting agency, Phi Beta Computer Modelling, Ltd.In 2016, I founded a public domain website with accompanying Twitter account and Facebook page, which reached 15.5K people in less than one week.
