Responsible for design, marketing materials, social media, and web content for seven unique and beloved local restaurants.Design for a variety of applications including menus, signage, posters, event promotion, merchandise, staff uniforms, logos, ads, invitations, web, email marketing, and social media marketing.Oversee social media across 20+ different brands and multiple channels, including creating posts and planning social media campaigns.Manage projects from start to finish, from brainstorming to printing to promoting.

Australia

I've been doing a lot of freelance design and illustration as we travel around Australia, most notably at a mountain bike shop, Over the Edge Sports, in Melrose, South Australia. While there I designed t-shirts and journals to be sold in the shop, as well as hand lettered signs, custom artwork, and window displays. Also of note is a screen printed tea towel for Four Winds Vineyard in Murrumbateman, New South Wales, and custom artwork for Langdale Farm in Glengarry, Tasmania.

My husband and I are doing a working holiday around Australia. Through a combination of volunteer work and casual employment, we've had countless amazing experiences including working at a vineyard, a free range saddleback pig farm, a mountain bike shop, and an outback resort. We've proved ourselves to be flexible, quick learners, and able to fit into lots of new environments. It's also helped clarify what we want from our lives when we return home after our year abroad.
