As an Application Trainer I am responsible for the development and delivery of deposit product training to COCC's internal staff and Financial Institutions. This includes creating job aids, conducting training for new & existing clients, Branch shadow days, ongoing training with new enhancements & features, and providing support with conversions. COCC offers numerous solutions to our clients and delivering exceptional service is always at the center of every interaction!

Glastonbury

As a VP Training Officer I was responsible for overseeing the Training Department for the organization. I planned, developed and implemented training activities throughout the organization. The training team created and trained Retail job-specific training, systems training, sales training, product knowledge, general skill and supervisory training. Class development consisted of creating curriculum, Leader Guides, Participant Guides and Job Aids. I participated in a variety of training and company project teams. I was responsible for maintaining the Training and Development budget, system conversion/enhancements and spearheading the merger training between Rockville Bank and United Bank.

Connecticut

As a Training Specialist I was responsible for delivering and facilitating a variety of training programs from general skills training to division-specific job training. My role included developing and enhancing a variety of curriculum, training programs and materials. I was the team lead for the "New Account" conversion training materials and trained this information each time we acquired a new bank.

New Britain

As a Teller Supervisor I was responsible for consistently delivering exceptional customer service, process a variety of different transactions, meet my individual sales and service goals, resolve customer inquiries and/or complaints, balance my cash drawer and ensure proper balancing of branch at day's end, supervise and ensure the operational efficiency of the teller line and develop the teller staff to meet established sales and referral goals. As a Teller Trainer for American Savings Bank i was responsible for developing and facilitating the new hire teller training program. I conducted Teller Supervisor meetings on a monthly basis to enforce sales and service and operational responsibilities. I also assisted with the acquisition of American Bank which required planning, implementation and training. Banknorth acquired American Savings Bank in 2003 where I was responsible for learning the system and training all employees.

New Britain

During my 10 year employment at Stop & Shop I held several job roles. I started as a cashier where my duties included customer service and balancing my cash drawer. My next job role was as an Assistant Cash Department Head where I was responsible for supervising 10-20 employees, traffic control, problem solving, decision making, scheduling, training new employees and customer service. As the Assistant Cash Office Manager I was responsible for check cashing, balancing cashier drawers, daily record keeping, daily reconciliation of store assets & volume, payroll, resolution of customer problems and training cash office personnel.
