Current work: I am currently working for Nuneaton and bedworth borough council as an apprentice carpenter/joiner. I work in council housing doing various jobs. I worked there for three years and six months. I was the receptionist on ward 34 clinical area, which is Haematology. I was based in between two wards and on weekends work for the both wards which are ward 34 and 35 (Haematology and oncology). Although I was a receptionist I did various other job roles that are higher than what my official banding was which was a band 2. For example, I typed clinical letters and a few other roles that I used to complete on reception were band 4 job roles. I did this as I like to be pushed above my ability and better myself and learn other roles to give me a wide range of skills. I had also learnt another role while working there on reception and that was a band 3 roll which was working in the day unit where the patients received chemotherapy, platelets, blood transfusions and bone marrow procedures. I used to work as a sales assistant at Outfit Binley, Warwickshire Retail Park, Kynner way, Coventry, CV3 2XA. I work there part time due to being at college and then having an apprenticeship. I started working there straight after I left school and I worked there for just over three years.
